Micah’s world was not that different from our world today with all the various sins, but God who would not have us to be ignorant speaks, He has shown all mankind to do good (Micah 6:8) and warned us of the consequences of doing evil. Micah warns against idolatry in Micah 1:75:13-14, against evil plans Micah 2:1, Oppression Micah 2.2, Hating good and loving evil, Micah 3:2, greedy priest and prophets, Micah 3:11, deceit  Micah 6:11-12, unfaithfulness Micah 7:2, family friction Micah 7:6. To do good in this context is to be an active participant in the works of good, sharing our abundant resources with the poor that God would bless the works of our hands and be glorified.

Father, we pray by Your Spirit in Christ the blessed and only potentate and seek Your face. We look expectantly for Your outstretched hand and Your favour, grace and mercy and we praise Your name, in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah! Amen.
