Salvation
The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.
(Jeremiah 8:20) It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. (Lamentations 3:26).
Father God, Today I pray in Jesus’ name for our children and young people, for those who don’t yet know the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour.
I pray for the power of salvation: may it be poured out over our children, opening eyes, unblocking ears, softening hearts, saving lives, making whole, washing, cleansing, healing scars, restoring, and pouring forth knowledge, wisdom and understanding of who You are Lord.
Awaken Your spirit in their hearts; brake chains and bands of wickedness causing those that never knew You to call on Your Great saving name. I pray that all our children and young people would seek You with their whole hearts and pray to You, cause them to stand still and see Your salvation, while we continue to pray and make intercession. In Jesus’ precious name, we give You thanks. Amen.
