For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect (Mat 24:24).

Brethren, let us walk in the Spirit (Gal 5:25) not by sight but having our spiritual eyes opened, recognising, perceiving and understanding the grace of God and being able to confess Christ who came from God, in the flesh, through the womb of a woman. He was crucified, died and rose again. “He cancelled the unfavourable record of our debts with its binding rules and did away with it completely by nailing it to the cross” (Col 2:14). He is seated on the right hand of the Father as intercessor. He is mediator, and go between for us. He sits at the right hand of God interceeding on our behalf.

Brethren, let us be aware, lest we be deceived by the false prophets, those who claim to have a message from the Lord but lie. We have heavenly help to recognise and understand what we see and hear in our walk with the Lord. The Lord Jesus is our help in heaven – He is the one through whom our eyes are opened so that we are not deceived. Glory Hallelujah!! Amen.
