Greetings Brethren, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

It is amazing how humans have a need to convey to the world who we are for whatever agenda we have mind. But here in Isaiah, Jesus says “I am he” to reveal God our Father and His truth to all people. “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me” (Isaiah 43:10).

In John 4:26 Jesus identifies himself to a woman who knew of His coming but did not recognise who He was. In John 18:4-8 Jesus asked those who were seeking him whom seek ye? Inspite of the reason he revealed himself to them. Twice Jesus asked them whom seek ye, He wanted them to be sure who they were looking for, not concerned with the reason they were seeking Him, He answered I am He.

Are we looking for Jesus today? Whatever our reason for seeking the Lord, He will open Himself to us. His Word says seek and you shall find. Jesus is more concerned with identifying himself to you than He is with saving Himself or hiding His identity. He wants us to believe in Him, and that cannot be hidden if we are to be saved.

I pray, in Jesus’ name, that as we seek, knock and enquire after our King, He will reveal His identity to us all for the glory of God our Father. Hallelujah! in Jesus’ name. Amen.
