Called To Christ
My Brethren, Greetings in the power of the Holy Spirit.
In Mathew 10:1 Jesus called twelve men to Him. He distributed power to them to do various works in the body. He refered to each of His disciples by name and sent them with that power He had given them. That power is able to identify contrary spirits. However,
there was one amongst the twelve who had a different spirit within him, the spirit of betrayal but his brethren did not discern it. When the time was right, Jesus Himself revealed it.
When God gives us a task we must be on the look out for the objectors, the enemy sends them to hinder us. Jesus can stop them by knocking them down, case in point Acts 9:3-5.
Lord Jesus, I pray for those of us that you called to yourself, numbered, gave power to, named and sent. May Your Spirit dwell abundantly and supernaturally that works of objection will not prevent us from accomplishing and finishing the work that You have sent us to do in Your name. All glory and honour unto Your holy name. Amen.
