Because God is self-sufficient, we can go to him to satisfy all our needs. We never have to worry about ‘using up’ His never-ending well of goodness, peace, mercy and grace. “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…” (Eph 3:20). God who is omnipotent, which means to have unlimited power is able to do anything He wills without any effort on his part. “Scripture is clear that God is strong and mighty (Psalm 24:8). Nothing is too hard for Him to accomplish (Genesis 18:14; Jeremiah 32:17, 27; Luke 1:37). Often God is called “Almighty,” describing Him as the One who possesses all power and authority (2 Cor 6:18; Rev 1:8). He is God, who said, “I am the Lord and there is no other (Isa 45:18). Power belongs to God (Psa 62:11, Mat 28:18). In fact, Paul says that God is “able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or imagine” (Eph 3:20).

I pray may this God reign over you, satisfy you, be a provider for you, heal you, cleanse you, stand by you, fight for you, make a way for you, touch all your family members, and friends, in Jesus’ name. May the God of our salvation, still the mouth, tie the hand, bind the feet of the enemy by His Almighty strength, power and authority. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
