Matthew 11:28 says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Father, in Jesus’ name, I come to you with my head my heart and my knees bowed. I hear Your Word saying to Your people “come unto me” and I ask You for help for those who have been laden, carrying whatever has been placed on them. I pray for those who’ve taken up that heavy load and have been delayed under that load for a long time, Father, move in Your children, move them to take that load to the cross. Father, break the yoke that has entangled and diverted Your people, shine Your light on the yoke of darkness that causes Your people to stumble and not see clearly. Lord, help us to take Your yoke, in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.
