Greeting in the name of the Lord Jesus. Scripture tells us that repentance is one of the most important aspects of the gospel because it reunites us with our Father, but it seems that in these modern times many people don’t want to repent. Repentance may hurt when we are convicted by our own sins but whichever way we see it, God calls us to it. Repentance! It’s a glorious call, an essential facet of the Christian life and a wonderful opportunity to build my relationship with the Lord and His family.

The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30). To repent is a command of God which we follow to spend eternity with Him. Repentance is not an emotion. However, it can generate an emotional response. To repent and turn away from sin is our recognition of sin in our lives, and an act of obedience to what God requires us to do about sin. As you progress on your Christian journey practice being in the presence of God. Pray, repent and turn away from any unconfessed sin. Worship God and allow Him to direct your path, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
