Father, Lord and Saviour, hallowed be thy precious name. I come to You, in the name of Jesus Christ, to seek Your leading in all things. Father, the times have changed and we need your guidance. We must move forward each day but we need Your strengthening hand to guide us,  and Your encouraging Word in our ear as we stand on Your promises.

Father, cause us to reflect on our journey thus far, to see that You helped us over hurdles, and saved us from accidents while providing for us when we struggled. Open our eyes to see that it is You, O God, who wakes us each morning and keeps us safe each day until we go to sleep. Father, forgive us for thinking more highly of ourselves than we ought. Your ways are higher than our ways and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isa 55:8}. Father, forgive us for going our own way and not consulting You. Help Your church to be humble, to seek, to listen, hear and do. Hear our prayer, O Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
