“The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved” (Jer 8:20). “It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD” (Lam 3:26).

Today I pray in the excellent name of Jesus’ Christ for our children and young people, those who don’t know Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour. I pray for the power of salvation, may it be poured out over our children, softening hearts, opening eyes, unblocking ears, saving lives, washing, cleansing, healing, restoring, and making spiritually whole.

Father, send forth knowledge of who You are, soften their hearts and fill them with wisdom and understanding. Mighty healer and deliverer, break chains and bands of wickedness causing those that never knew You to call on the excellency of Your Great name. I Pray that our children and young people would stand still and see the salvation of our excellent Saviour, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
