We are called to live holy lives which is only possible when we live the way God created us to live. God has given us His Word as our guide to living holy. The Apostle Peter, says in 2Peter 1:2 “May grace and peace be lavished on you as you grow in the rich knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord!” When we delight ourselves in the law of the Lord and meditate on them day and night (Psalm 1:2) praying in the spirit with humility and thanksgiving, we are drawn into a holy relationship with God. Hallelujah! James says, “As we draw near to God He will draw near to us. But we must also “cleanse our hands and purify our hearts” (James 4:8). By following this guide our relationship is strengthened in holiness, in wisdom and knowledge of the Lord. The Apostle writes in 2 Corinthians “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2Corinthians 3:18). Hallelujah, and glory to God. Father, thank you for the blessing of your Word that says: “For his divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. (2Peter 1:3 AMP). And I pray everyone you have called will “become partakers of the divine nature.” (2Peter 1:4 NET). Through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, I give you thanks. Amen
