Hebrews 11:1 states, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” There is no sliding scale for Christian people to follow. You either believe Jesus Christ with your whole heart or you don’t. With your whole heart you follow His teachings, and with your whole heart you believe Him to be who He says He is. He is the living Word of God. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.”(Jn 1:2). This is the basis of your faith.

The question some Christian people might wrestle with these days is, whose gospel is being preached? Is it the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Son of God? Test it for yourself by reading and studying. This is what scripture says, “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:” (2 Jn 1:9-10).

Don’t lose faith in God because someone has come along teaching some ‘other gospel’ that is not founded in the Word of God. In Galatians) 1, the Apostle Paul gave sound encouragement to the Galatians. He strongly expressed they must not to follow any other doctrine than that of Jesus Christ which he preached to them. He told them that even if angels brought a different doctrine to them, they should reject it.

I pray you be encouraged, to hold on to your faith in Jesus Christ. read, study and meditate on the Word of God, ask the Lord to show you ‘His Way’ His lighted path, and thereby avoid the false way. I pray, Almighty God, reveal Himself to you by His Holy Spirit, make you sure, fully persuaded, make you unshakeable in your faith in Jesus Christ. Amen.
