“Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee” (Pro 20:22). God protected Israel from their enemies, He can also protect us. As Christian people come under attack more and more, our faith will be tested in many ways. Yes, we are flesh and blood. But we have Christ on our side, Holy Spirit anointing with power and authority to pray, lay hands on the sick and raise the dead. And God, our Father, is watching over us His children. He will never fail us. Even if neighbours collude against us, and liars lie, and colleagues ostracize and employers dimiss us, God will work things out in our favour. The Word tells us that, “Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered” (Pro 11:21). 

The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness” (Pro 11:5). Be encouraged, be courageous, for, “If God be for us who can be against us” (Rom 8:31). Glory to God forever and ever. Amen.
