And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed (Rom 13:10 KJVLite). Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober (1Thes 5-6 KJVLite). Pray in the Spirit at all times with every kind of prayer and request. Likewise, be alert with your most diligent efforts and pray for all the saints (Eph 6:18 ISV).


Let us not only be concerned with our own interest but also take other people’s interests into account and pray for them. (Phil 2:4). When we love as Christ loves us we will think about our sisters and brothers needs as well as our own. And moreover, we will pray for them and try our best to help and support as Christian brethren in Christ Jesus.  Speaking to His disciples, in Joh 13:34, Jesus says “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”
