Move Sin Out Of The Way
“I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins” (Isaiah 43:25 KJVLite).
This does not mean that God has forgotten the transgressions, this has nothing to do with God ‘remembering’ or ‘memory’. Far from it. God does not literally forget, He is Omniscient. He knows and remembers every single thing that each person does, whether it be something spoken or a physical action taken. Scripture tells us that God understands our thoughts afar off…. (Psalm 139:2 KJVLite). He knows whether we are thinking righteous or unrighteous thoughts. Yet in spite of our thoughts, whether they be good or evil, when we go to God and pray to Him from a sincere heart, confess our sin and ask for His forgiveness, He hears and He forgives us our transgressions. God is not like us human beings who say that we forgive but then refuse to treat the individual with love and respect.
God does not confuse us with such contradictions. His Word tells us: “He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities” (Psalm 103:10 KJVLite). He removes our sin out of the way, He does not remember our sin as humans do, making each other guilty again and again and again. Psalm 103:12 says: “As far as the East is from the West, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us” (KJVLite). God has not literally forgotten, He has chosen not to remember our transgressions as a big stick to beat us with.
Do not allow the enemy of your soul to make you feel guilty for something that God has already forgiven you for. God who is Omniscient, has removed it out of the way and does not hold us in guilt as long as we continue in His righteousness.
So before you pray, remove the trespasses of those who trespass against you ‘out of the way’. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
