The Bald and Golden eagles have similar wingspans ranging from 5.9 – 8 feet from tip to tip. (Source: Megan Martin accessed 21/06/23). The White-tailed eagle is said to have a wingspan of 2.5 metres, (RSPB). These are big birds that use their powerful wings to skillfully glide across the skies. Their sheer speed and power give them a great advantage over smaller birds and mammals.
 
So, where Isaiah 40:31 says: “they shall mount up with wings as eagles” it does not refer to an ordinary small bird but great powerful birds. Imagine the sheer power that, God our Father, has given to you. He has anointed you to rise up and soar far above daily challenges that try to make you their prisoner. Think about the powerful 8 feet wingspan of the eagle, which is taller than the height of a tall man. Meditate on the scripture which gives you great advantage over your circumstances. It is the Word of God.
 
I declare that life’s issues will not distract you, that spoken words will not hurt you, and that no adversarial plan will derail you. I declare that in a moment you will soar on eagle’s wings, in the name of Jesus. I declare that as you soar with Christ Jesus, you will grow in strength. I declare that you will find comfort and solace in the scripture as you allow it to work in you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah!
