Persist In Prayer
Greetings brethren in Christ Jesus
There are times when we are not able to do all things for ourselves but God can do everything everywhere at all times, and so we are instructed to pray to Him without fainting or ceasing. (Luk 18.1, 1Th 5.17).
There was a woman who wanted justice against her adversary which was something she could not do herself. So she went to the unjust judge who for a while said no, but after a time he relented because of her persistence. And so, he gave the justice she required. The unjust judge gave justice to a widow, how much more will the righteous God grant justice to those who trust and persistently ask it of him. In 1Tim 2.1 prayer is to be placed at the front of every situation whether it was for submission to authority or for anything else because prayer is good and acceptable to God who wants all people to be saved.
Look at the state of the world we live in today, can we pray for it to be better? Yes we can. Jesus said ask anything, ask and it shall be given, God’s word says call me and I will answer. God intends for us to pray, to call upon His name. With human beings not all things are possible but with God all things are possible. Glory to the God of possibilities and impossibilities, the God who stands with mortal man for there is nothing too hard for Him to do. So, come let us talk to Him, let us sit with Him and remind our Father of our merits. Persist in prayer, hold on steadfastly and firmly in spite of obstacles and disappointments. Pray always, Don’t faint (Luke 18:1). Ask God for your everything, your breakthrough, your deliverance, your healing, and your peace, Hallelujah, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
