But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain. I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me (Psa 3:3-5).

The Lord is good, He will also be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble (Psa 9:9) The Lord cares for those who trust in him, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze (Isaiah 43:2). The Lord will keep you from all harm, He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore (Psa 121:7-8).

I beseech you brethren, and I pray in the power of Jesus’ name, by the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, give your all to Jesus. I have “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men” (Col 3:23). Father, we give You thanks. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
