Father, I pray in the name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, that by Your Spirit we would all desire to be justified through your son Jesus Christ and have peace with You. (Rom 5). The wicked are not justified. They are at war with You every day whether they are aware of it or not, and You are not pleased with them (Psa 7:11). I pray that they might come to know your peace through salvation in Jesus Christ.

Our justification is at the heart of the gospel and as a result of being justified, reconciled, we enjoy Your peace. And through your peace, we experience every blessing of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Saviour is the prince of peace. (Isa 9:6) Jesus Christ is our peace (Eph 2:14) His peace is objective, and a fact. Father, everyone who is justified, reconciled to You through Christ, is no longer at war with You but have peace for all eternity. 

Father, for this peace I pray: that all my brethren may experience Your peace, and I give You thanks, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
