In Genesis 12 God calls Abram. God spoke. Abram listened. He heard the Word as spoken and obeyed the spoken Word of God. Inside of God’s spoken Word to Abram we’re promises which Abram could not inherit except by his obedience to God’s Word. Abram did not know where he was going. What he did know was that he had a relationship with God. He trusted God, he believed what God said to him, he obeyed the voice of God, and faithfully followed God’s Word.

Imagine that the Lord spoke you saying, pack up your home and family and move to an  unfamiliar place. Would you hear the Word of the Lord? Would you listen? Would you be obedient to the Lord who saved you by His grace? Abram’s faith ensured his obedience to the voice of his God. God requires us to live by faith in Jesus Christ, so let’s search our hearts and check our faith levels.

In the name of Jesus, I pray for an anointing, a holy anointing that penetrates hearts, increases faith, and opens ears. I pray that by submission to the Holy Spirit, each one of us will obey the Word of the Lord, Yahweh. I pray, in the name of Jesus, for the church to listen to the Word of the Lord, to hear it, to do it and be it within its specific contexts, and go forward in faith in Christ Jesus. By the power of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus, I declare the church a people of great faith in the Lord, Yahweh. Amen.
