Greetings in Christ Jesus to all the people of God. My encouragement to us as we begin our day is this, God is present at all times.

Through the passage of time, in Psalm 37:25 David begins a testimony that looks at the passage of time. He refers to a time when he was young and a time of old age in which he has never seen the righteous those who God upholds and defends, sustains and maintains: in want, forsaken or begging bread. He speaks of his own experience as a man after God’s own heart who was protected by God countless times, hidden by God from his enemies, given the victory by God, defended by God and fed by God.

David declared that God is his shepherd and that he wanted to dwell where God dwells, that he may not only look on the beauty of the Lord but experience His presence. All of these point me to a personal experience and close relationship growing over a period of time. Time gives us our experience with God showing us that he is constant and always faithful and that we must endure the good times and the bad times holding onto the unchanging hand of God.

God our Father wants us to succeed, like any good parents want their children to succeed. God knows we will mess up but over time He will guide us in what is right. They say time is a healer but time is also a teacher and God is the master of time.

I pray in Jesus’ name that we will all make good use of time because God knows what we have need of and He is an on-time God. He never fails. Amen.
