“Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her” (Pro 3:13-18). Amen.

Brethren and Friends, I encourage you to “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: let us by faith lay hold on the things of Christ.

Let us live as examples among believers and the unbelieving with whom we share communities, workspaces, social settings, places of learning and more. Every day we come face to face with the issues of life. We’re confronted by pain and poverty, sadness and hopelessness but God who is above all things, sees all things and knows all things. And He is willing to hear all kinds of prayers for everyone: for wisdom, understanding, riches, honour, pleasantness and Peace.

I pray we continue the good fight by faith in Jesus Christ, being Christ-like examples bringing others along with us. I pray in the name of Jesus that the Father, would bless and multiply the prayers of our hearts. All glory to God. Amen.
