In his day Noah preached The Word of God, he gave a warning to the world. No one outside of his family took him seriously but God’s judgement was real. The world is living a similar scenario today – just as Mat 24:37-38 said we would. God has warned that people will be tormented and killed during the 7-year Tribulation (Rev 9:15-18) but who is listening, it is much as it was back in Noah’s day. 

This world is filled with nakedness and immorality, people doing their own thing: some looking for sex with anyone they meet, others cheating on their spouses, young people seeking thrills, others doing hard drugs or abusing alcohol, and habitual fornicators, all looking for a good time in sin. The same holds true of backslidden believers (2 Cor 5:10-11; Rom 14:12; 12:19; 1 Thes 4:6). God will not be mocked. Let every person consider ourselves warned. The Bible warns in Rev 20:12-15 that God is recording all of our sins in a book from which we shall be judged. Judgement is real and it is coming, judgement is on its way.

Father God, I pray that Your mercies would be extended to all who are not born again, and to backslidden believers to lift everyone out of darkness and the clutches and effects of sin. Father God, I bless Your holy name and give You thanks, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
