Father, I thank You for the power and strength of Your Word, it, “is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword” (Heb 4:12) it cuts and heals, it pulls down and raises up, it defends and protects and gives life.

Father, You are not a man that You should lie. I thank You for Your Word which says, “There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you.” (Deu 11:25). Your Word says, “The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.” (Deu 28:7). “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand but it shall not come nigh thee.” (Psa 91:7). “I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee”, (Exo 23:9).

I thank You Lord and heavenly Father, for the power of Your creative life-giving Word that gives victory over our enemies. I pray that the defence promised in Your Word be applied to us today and with that Word of our Lord Jesus Christ and by the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, I place every attack against the families of God’s people, every attack against Christian ministries, and every sickness, condition and complaint under the blood of Jesus Christ. And, Father, I pray by the blood of Jesus Christ, command a blessing upon us, (Deu 28:8) Almighty God, as we give You all our worship and all our praise, in the precious holy name, Jesus Christ. Amen.
