If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (Joh 15:7). The Word of God in us brings about cleansing, of the toxic sinful things that prevents us from being in a position of righteousness. Psalm 119:9 says, “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word” This is the purpose for which God sent His Word, to heal and deliver us from our destructions (Psa 107: 20). The Word must first cleanse us; the process of cleansing then brings healing and deliverance from destruction the direction in which we were fast heading. Father in heaven, forgive our sins and deliver us all from evil. Father, don’t allow us to drift from Your presence. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
