“Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him” (Dan 6:4). “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime” (Dan 6:10). Daniel would rather spend a night in a den of lions than go without prayer for one single moment. Every government body was against Daniel’s prayer life. They conspired to kill him all because he prayed when a foolish decree prohibited him from doing so.

Daniel removed himself to his private space and prayed; his adversaries heard him and reported back to the king that Daniel was praying to his God. Was Daniel wrong for disobeying the kings decree? No he wasn’t. He was confident in His God and didn’t stop praying; it was his way of life and he knew the power of prayer. Brethren pray always, you won’t always be liked but pray anyway; continue in it even when you’re threatened. Remember that our God is a deliverer and He can deliver You.

I pray that God would protect you from the trap of every foolish decision and give you an unwavering heart. I pray that your house will be a house of prayer and that your household will serve the Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Now pray for someone, in Jesus’ name, allow the Holy Spirit to lead you…..
I pray that (name’s) house will be a house of prayer……

May the Lord God bless you as you continue in prayer.
