Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (Matthew 6:19-21 KJVLite). 

Father God, I pray, in Jesus’ in name, for Your help to keep my mind focused on You, on things of the spirit. Help me to keep my mind on heavenly things, to walk by faith, knowing that You will provide for all my needs. Father, Your Word says that wherever my treasure is, my heart will be there also. I pray for wisdom to make right choices, to discern between acquiring material things that don’t last and seeking after eternal heavenly treasures.

Today, I declare in the name of Jesus: I will “seek first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness” (Matthew 6:33 KJVLite) that all my needs will be supplied through Christ. Father God, I pray, as I make this declaration, Your Holy Spirit will guide me into laying up treasures in heaven, in Jesus’ name. Father, I give glory to Your holy name. Amen.
