“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1Corinthians (15.57 KJVLite). Amen.

The devil our enemy is a thief and scripture tells us that: the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus Christ came that we might have life and have life more abundantly, (John 10v10). Sin blinds people from the truth, but since Jesus came to open the eyes of the blind both spiritually and physically, (Isaiah 42:7; 2 Kings 6:17; Isaiah 35:5) we have victory. The enemy is a devious liar and people believe the lies, but, Jesus Christ is the truth of God (John 14:6) and the truth sets us free (John 8:32) so we have the victory.

In this world trouble comes into our lives, but the Word of God says, I will be with you in trouble (Psalm 91:15) The Lord will be with you in the waters and in the fire and you shall not be harmed (Isaiah 43:2). When the trials, tests, temptations and troubles seem too much, God hides us in the secret of his tabernacle (Psalm 27:5) and covers us there with his feathers, his wings; his shadow (Psalm 91:4; 91:1). The enemy goes around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1Peter 5:8-9) but the word of God says, resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7) he comes one way and flees seven ways (Deuteronomy 28:7). Hallelujah! We have the Victory.

I pray we all live in victory, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen.
