“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6 KJVLite). 

No one can get to know God without going through His son Jesus Christ. God gave His only son as a sacrifice so that we, you and I could live amazing abundant lives. To live is to follow Jesus the Way, to love Him with all our hearts, our minds and our souls. John 3:16 tells us this truth, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (KJVLite).

Without Jesus, we have no life. We are just bodies moving about living our lives but dead in trespasses and sin. However, when we accept Jesus as Lord of our lives, our bodies and thoughts, He gives us new life, a life in the Spirit. He lives in our hearts and speaks to us each moment of every day because He loves us.

I pray, in the name of Jesus, that we listen to Him as the Living Word. The Word will direct our thoughts and actions, leading us to righteousness.
