“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Tim 1:7 KJVLite).

Let’s meditate on these gifts from God. In our daily lives we encounter fear. It might turn up when we least expect, accompanied by its horrors.  Yet we overcome it by the grace of God. Know this, no threatening clouds of impending storms can destroy our faith and trust in God. Know that the spirit of fear is Not from God, try the spirit (1 Joh 4:1). Understand this, fear and doubt are smoke screens that hide the truth of God. Treasure the gift of a sound mind as it distinguishes us from those without the gift.

A person with a sound mind will not be easily influenced. They will stand firmly on the steadfast unchanging Word of God, through Jesus Christ. Hold on. Hold onto God’s promises, and wait on Him ( Psal 27:11). Don’t allow any circumstance to cause you to fear or doubt but rather rejoice. Rejoice in the power of God, rejoice in His love, live, and enjoy a life filled with God’s gift of a sound mind. In Jesus’ name. Hallelujah! Amen!
