In Matthew 1:21 it is written thus: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins (KJVLite). The Word was agreed in heaven with the Father and Jesus the Son of God fulfilled it in the earth. Isaiah 53:5 says: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (KJVLite). We see through the whole of Isaiah 53 that it speaks of Jesus’ suffering. He went through it all for us. Jesus spent 33 years on this earth doing what was written of Him. He went about doing good. During that time He fulfilled every expected task. And now He sits at the right hand of His Father in heaven making intercession for us.

Father, as we endeavour to do what we are instructed to do, fill us with your will and the Holy Spirit help. Guide our hands, our feet and our speech and cause us go about doing good as Jesus Christ did. Father, it is written of Your children, greater works, shall we who believe in Jesus’ name do. (John14:12). We give you thanks O ,Lord. Amen.
