“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death” (Rom 8:1 KJVLite).

Many of today’s laws in the world are restrictive. They tell you don’t do this, do that and so forth, some with good reason, such as laws against stealing, murder, lying etc. But there is a Law in Christ that prevents us from being condemned, in fact this Law frees us from the condemnation of sin. Now we can indeed say there is no condemnation to them that are in Christ who has delivered us from sin and death. Glory Hallelujah to His name. The Law of the Spirit by which we walk has made us free from sin and death, free from the restrictive Laws of the world, free to obey the Laws of God. Father in heaven, in Jesus’ name keep us from condemnation. By Your power, help us not to squander our freedom nor to use our freedom as an opportunity to indulge our flesh, but to serve one another in love (Gal 5:13 KJVLite). In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
