Father God, thank You for being my God and Father. You are the one who cares and protects me from harm and danger.

Father, I pray for Your church worldwide that we do not allow titles or positions in the church or other places to displace humility. Help us to be humble under Your mighty hand and promoted by Your Holy Spirit. Father, make it obvious to us that earned and conferred titles and positions are temporary as human resources can be promoted or demoted at any time. Strengthen our faith in You to trust in You and be humble because You see us as sons and daughters, not as simple movable resources.

When You promote us it is by divine appointment by Your Holy Spirit, and no person can change what You have ordained. Father, I pray Your church be humble so that trials draw us closer to You, and strengthen our relationship with You for the glory of God in Christ Jesus. Amen.
