Let me not be ashamed, O God.
Let my heart tremble before You, and let my prayers come up to You, in the name of Jesus. Fan the flames of love in my heart that I might love without prejudice. Keep my mind safe when my name is called in judgment. Steer me clear of the jagged rocks, hide me from the painful arrows, and help me not to judge. Cause me to judge myself, O God, let me examine myself to see whether I am in the faith. Father God, help me to lay aside every weight that causes me to be slow and lethargic, and forget my purpose. Grant me a greater measure of discernment. Let me neither look to the right nor the left, let my eyes be on you, focused, trusting only the things of God, the spiritual things from above discerning their distinct characteristics. I trust You, Lord, and pray that You will draw me closer to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
