Mat 4.4, Luke 4.4, Jesus said that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Jesus responded to the three temptations of the evil one with the power of the Word of God, demonstrating to believers that the Word of God has power to sustain life in a world of evil. We come to the knowledge of God through the power of His Word. In Col 1:9-10 Paul prayed for this knowledge that it may increase. I pray in Jesus’ name that God would exert the strength and power of His life giving Word of Spirit and power over every believer and none believer alike, so that through the knowledge of God’s Word we may live being fully persuaded, convinced and able to stand confidently, in the Spirit, unmovable without fear and doubt against the evils of this world, in Jesus’ name.
