“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof” (Rom 13:11-14).
The times are dark times and the works of darkness are ever present. The Word of God says that we must put off these works, we must wake up from sleep and we can only put off the darkness with the light of a holy God who is still in control. We must have eyes to see and ears to hear. As the time is getting  shorter, the coming of Christ’ return draws nearer. It has been the last days for a long time but truly time is running out. 

Father, give us understanding of the times, give a discerning spirit to know the times and seasons, give knowledge of who You are, and wisdom to live knowing that You are coming back to judge Your people. And take home Your faithful servants. Father, make it so that we will be ready with our house in order in Jesus’ name. Amen
