“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” (Isa 55:11 KJVLite). “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psa 107:20 KJVLite).

Father in heaven, glory to Your name. Your Word is how the blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the souls of the poor are satisfied. The centurion in Matthew 8:8 recognised that in speaking the word of God his servant would be healed. Thank You Father for Your Word that dwells among us: it is Spirit and it is life, it is water for my thirst, my defence, my comfort, a balm for my pain, my weapon against principalities and powers, my strength, my encouragement, I thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. In Jesus’ name, I give You honour, glory and praise through the power of Your Holy Word. Amen.
