Brethren and friends, I greet you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
My desire and prayer in this message is for us all to have power in Jesus’ name.

Jesus Christ promised that the Holy Spirit would come and empower the church to accomplish the works of the Spirit in the world today, right now (Acts 1:4-8), and The Holy Spirit emerged as the abiding Comforter and Teacher of believers (John 14:16-17; 1 John 2:20-27). In John 14:17 Jesus told His disciples that the Spirit “dwelleth WITH you, and shall be IN you (KJV).”
There is not a lot of Bible conversation in today’s modern world and church about the power of the Holy Spirit, but Jesus spoke clearly of a helper. The Holy Spirit teaches, the Holy Spirit leads and directs, the Holy Spirit brings to our remembrance, the Holy Spirit is a helper to believers. The Holy Spirit is the comforter who comforts, the Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth, believers are baptised with the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit brings power to the believer, and the Holy Spirit helps in our prayer lives. The Holy Spirit’s power is the enabling power of God working in and enabling believers to serve in His Kingdom. No Holy Spirit, no power.

We have access to that same Holy Spirit power that rose Christ up from the dead. Hallelujah! The Holy Spirit reveals, for no one could call Jesus Lord without it being revealed to him that Jesus is Lord. We must recognise the Holy Spirit as the one who does the work in and through us because without Him the work in the church and world cannot not be accomplished.

Have you received the Holy Spirit? (Acts 19:2) Without the Holy Spirit we are powerless. In the name of Jesus I stretch out my hand and pray for every believer near and far, by the power of Jesus’ name, receive the Holy Spirit. Amen.
