God does not want us to die because of the sins that we have committed. So, whatever it means to change our minds, turn from sin or repent, then those are the life enhancing actions we must take. Let us consider this, if we change our minds about sin, we turn our minds to God, if not, iniquity will be our ruin. Romans 6:23 says “the wages of sin is death.” Eze 18:30 says, repent, turn yourselves. And more, Eze 18:32 instructs, “turn yourselves, and live.” Choose life. If saying sorry and making amends brings life and healing, then do it (Jas 5:16). Confession of faults one to another brings forgiveness and healing but the question is can I trust you with my faults? Can I tell you all? And, do I think that I am someone that you could tell all? I pray that we who are of the body of Christ would consider one another in our thoughts and actions.

Father God, I pray in Jesus’ name, save Your people from sin for we are Your people, called by Your Spirit, and called by Your name. I pray that a turning of self, changing of mind, and repentance to life, in the name of Jesus, will overflow the church the body of Christ and the world. Father God, by Your Spirit, I send a word in Jesus’ name, and according to that authoritative word, I pray that people everywhere will come to Christ and be saved, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
