Believe the Truth of God’s Word
My brethren, most Holy greetings in Christ Jesus. I pray these words of encouragement and prayers find you blessed and highly favoured of God in Jesus’ name. Amen. 

The book of Matthew 16:18 says, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (read from Matthew 16:13-18). It is the truth of God’s word released to Peter, by God concerning the identity of Christ the rock, the foundation upon which the church of the true and living God is established. 

Jesus was not saying that He was going to construct a building brick by brick, rather that He will raise up a nation, a people of power who would call upon His name through the power and truth of His word. Brethren let us be drawn to God’s Word, to the truth of it and its building and constructive properties. By so doing we can extract precious wisdom and be built up lively stones filled with the Holy Spirit of God, enabled to build up one another through Christ Jesus. 

May our Lord Jesus build you up as you enquire and share His word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
