The King is Coming! The King is Coming! All Hail the King!

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”(1 Thes 4:16-17). Hallelujah! Glory Hallelujah!

This promise is to those who accept Jesus as Lord. Peter encourages us thus:
“Therefore, believers, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you [be sure that your behavior reflects and confirms your relationship with God]; for by doing these things [actively developing these virtues], you will never stumble [in your spiritual growth and will live a life that leads others away from sin];” (2 Pet 1:10).

Abba, Father, God of all, thank You for Your promise of life eternal. There is none like You O God who can deliver, none who can save. Father, God of heaven and of earth, I pray in Jesus’ name, that before this day arrives, all the sons and daughters of the righteous will return to You. May the day not overtake them but let them be found watching for the King’s return. Father, let the people of God, rejoice and be glad because The King is Coming. Anoint us again dear Lord, to Stand. And in spite of the fiery trials, we shall declare the gospel message to the world.
